The trading day

Asia, London and New York: when we look, and when we don’t.

Step by step

1. 00:00 to 06:00 UK time: Asia. Price builds a range, the Asia box. We don’t trade it; we mark its high and low.
2. 06:00 to 08:00: the run up to London (Frankfurt opens at 07:00). Sometimes one side of the box is swept here already.
3. 08:00 to 10:30: the London window. This is where most setups happen.
4. 13:00 to 15:30: the New York window, the second chance of the day. US data at 13:30 can move price sharply.
5. After the New York close at 22:00, anything still open is closed. Tomorrow is a new box.

Remember: Mark Asia, trade London and New York, and close up at the end of the day. Outside those windows, do nothing.
